Sabaidee dear guests, welcome to Poukhoun Restaurant! We are a small family business and invite you to get to know the laotian food culture in a relaxed and companionable atmosphere. We try our best for your culinary and short vacation wellbeing :-) ! See you soon hopefully, sincerely your Poukhoun team
Very tasty food. For vegans the starting point for Asian food. A bit small, but also cozy. Attentive and very friendly staff.
As a vegan, I like to be here and enjoy!
Great here
Especially recommended for vegetarians and vegans. Each dish can be put together in a modular system with meat, fish, tofu or seitan. The prices are perfectly adequate for the quality of the food. Reservations are highly recommended because the restaurant is extremely small. Due to the steep stairs to the dining room, the restaurant is not handicapped accessible, which is the only drawback
Enjoy your meal. Clear menu
You enter a small but nice apartment that has been converted into a restaurant, but in which you get a pleasant atmosphere. We had reserved in advance and got our table without any problems. As a drink, I then ordered a cocktail with banana juice that was a bit too sweet with Personal but super delicious. Then I tried something new for my main course. Then there was Saitan with roasted cashew nuts, vegetables and rice for me, which was all delicious. My companions both had duck with sweet and sour vegetables and rice. The duck was cooked great. In terms of price, everything was more than fair for the amount of food you got. The waitress was friendly and also gave tips on how to best eat. If you would like to try Laotian, I can only recommend it :)
A food direction that you can not find everywhere. I liked this Asian cuisine well and the service and prices were good too. I can only say about the location itself, small but nice.
Very nice staff and a very cozy restaurant. Cooking is fresh and delicious here. The dishes are very good and vegans also get their money's worth here. I will definitely go out to eat with my family here more often.
Very good Asian cuisine. Very cozy and yet very personal flair. Special feature not only vegetarian, but also a purely vegan menu. But you should reserve
Small restaurant, cozy, friendly and really good food.
Family business! Very warm and friendly. But it wouldn't matter, because the food is incredibly good and I could pepper it every day!
Small cozy restaurant. It is not possible to make a reservation as there are only 30 places available. Very friendly staff. The food is very traditional and delicious. Everything is explained top and very important to pay attention to the degree of sharpness. Vegan friendly. Unfortunately I was a little unlucky because a group of 14 people was sitting next to the table and was not exactly quiet ... otherwise maybe even an insider tip ...
I like the crispy duck with tamarind sauce here. I always eat that when I go there. Sometimes if you go on Sunday or crowded day you may have to wait 1 and a half hour for food :(
As a South East Asian, i recommend this restaurant. Laotian dish is delicious. If you need ultra spicy like the original, please tell the staff.
The restaurant is nice all the time and we had a nice afternoon there. The drinks selection was great for my siblings and me! The restaurant is truly enormously aesthetically decorated. Not a cheap decoration, but everything was color matched to each other very good looking. Really quick and polite service. I think that all the local staff did a good job there.
Wonderful Laotian restaurant. Small, small card but excellent food. Very nice and courteous service who like to explain the dishes. We will be back!!!
One can taste, that here with a lot of love is cooked. If you pay after the meal in the entrance, you have the opportunity to look at the kitchen and realize that here is something with great passion. The sole cook in this restaurant exudes something very warm and that translates to the food.
Great service and the staff is very friendly. The Lao dishes are explained by the service staff. Extra wishes are not a problem. The dishes we ordered were also delicious. We will definitely come back.
Nice, small and cozy restaurant with very friendly service and country style ambience. Food tastes good, lots of choice, also many vegetarian and vegan dishes. The portions are large and the price reasonable. The drink prices are a bit high (0,2l Apfelschorle for 2,40 €, large water for 4,50 €) and it could be a little more sauce on the food.
Top! Unfortunately a bit tight, but still a really cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great food and service! Great for vegans.
The waitress was extremely nice and helpful with choosing what to eat. The restaurant is super cute and familiar.
Great atmosphere and delicious!
One of my favourite restaurants. The staff is super friendly and passionate about their food and the cooking is awesome. The atmosphere is warm and homelike. There is a great vegan menu as well as a "regular" one with vegetarian and omni options. The Laotian cuisine is somewhat similar to Thai food but with a homely herbal twist to it. This is not just another restaurant, it's an insider tip (which is why you should make a reservation)!
Cash only! (Only sparkasse in the nearby area.) We have waited for main dish for about one hour, some guests after starter also waited for more then 30mimutes to get main dish. The waiter is good, food is delicious, especially the papaya salat, it's hard to believe to have such authentic food in this residential area. Will definite visit again if we are not in huge hunger.
Excellent experience, the place is small and pretty. The management is all female, very kind and helpful. The dishes are well presented and very good. The price is more than fair. The only drawback is to pay only cash.
